TikTok Story Viewer

Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what information TikTok Story Viewer (“we”, “us”) processes when you use tikstory.net, and why. The short version: we collect as little as possible and we don’t sell anything.

Information we don’t collect

  • We don’t ask you to create an account or log in to TikTok.
  • We don’t store the usernames you search or the media you view or download.
  • We don’t build advertising profiles about you or sell personal data.

Information processed to run the service

Like any website, our servers and hosting provider receive technical data needed to deliver pages — such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This data is used only to operate, secure and rate-limit the service, and is kept in short-lived server logs that are deleted automatically.

Cookies and analytics

We don’t use cookies for tracking. If we use analytics, we use privacy-friendly, aggregated statistics (for example, page view counts) that don’t identify individual visitors. If this changes, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent.

Third parties

To show public TikTok content, our servers request it from TikTok or from data providers that access TikTok’s public content. These requests come from our servers, not your device, and contain no information about you.

Security

All connections use HTTPS. Media is streamed through our servers and is not stored.

Children

TikTok Story Viewer is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we don’t keep personal data tied to you, there is usually nothing to return — but you can always contact us at contact@tikstory.net.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
